VPS SERVICES

Purchase of a new vehicle ($375)

Dave is skilled at helping clients choose the right vehicle, whether it’s a whole fleet of reliable vans for your business or the safest car for your college-bound daughter.  Dave will listen and develop a strategy for finding vehicles that match your needs.  He will negotiate with dealers, arrange for mechanical inspections, oversee sales transactions, and assist with vehicle registrations. Clients determine how much – or how little – they want to be involved in the process, but Dave is always there to make sure you end up with the car you want at a reasonable price.

Purchase of a used vehicle ($400)

When helping clients buy a pre-owned car, Dave starts with a clear idea of your needs and price range. He will conduct an informed and exhaustive search and once he locates the optimal choices, Dave provides a visual inspection, negotiates a purchase price, and arranges for a mechanical inspection and further outfitting if desired. Dave can also handle the entire sales transaction and registration process.

For clients in the market for a used vehicle, Dave offers the following services:

Sale of a vehicle ($400–$550) with lien add $50

For clients who need to sell a car, Dave will inspect and prepare the car for the market, handle all advertising and interactions with prospective buyers, amd work as your agent in the negotiations. Dave can also handle the sales transaction, including the transfer of title.

Dave will perform the following services to help you sell your car:

Lease of a new vehicle ($375)

Leasing is a good fit for some people and a really poor fit for others. Leasing can seem attractive because of the lower monthly payment. However, if you do not fully understand the terms of the lease, it can end up costing you thousands more than you would have paid to purchase the same vehicle. Most car salespeople do not fully understand how leases are constructed. When you use Dave's service, the lease will be studied before you sign your documents and you will be clear whether leasing is the best fit for your needs. As a result of the current economic conditions, many banks are getting out of the car-leasing business because of the difficulty in accurately predicting residual (lease end) values of vehicles. Currently there are very few vehicles that have attractive lease payments because of the excessive depreciation that the banks use to calculate lease payments.

Sale for an estate ($500)

Often family members inherit unwanted vehicles when an estate is being settled. Often the families are from out of town and the title needs to be prepared in order to sell the vehicle. Dave can make sure that you don't spend hours waiting in line at the MVD, only to find out that a second or third trip will be needed. Depending on the wishes of the family, Dave can either facilitate the transfer of title to a family member, or sell the vehicle to a third party on behalf of the estate.

Professional vehicle-related consultations (call for pricing)

Dave also offers various services for those who live within or outside the local area or who need special arrangements.

Some jobs require “special handling” and do not fall into the typical car transaction. These jobs can be priced on an hourly basis. Occasionally titles get lost, vehicles go unregistered, liens are not released and estates need to dispose of a vehicle. Dave has the experience and resources to resolve just about any issue quickly that might otherwise take several trips to the MVD and many, many hours of your time. If you are having difficulty transferring a title or getting your vehicle registered, please call Dave to find out the best way to get your vehicle back on the road legally!

Some of the special services Dave can provide include:

Other automobile-related services (call for pricing)

Does your vehicle need routine maintenance or repairs, a detail, window tint, dents removed, bumper covers repainted, upholstery repaired, etc? Dave has spent years seeking out the best vendors who provide a superior service for a fair price. Contact Dave to find out who can provide the service you need to get your vehicle back on the road or looking like it just rolled off of the showroom floor.

If it is vehicle-related, you name it, Dave has probably dealt with it!

How does the process work?

When purchasing or leasing a vehicle, Dave will personally guide you through the process. Here’s how it works:

How do I get started?

Next to a home, a vehicle is one of the largest investments a person will make. It is important to think beyond what catches your eye or what has the latest innovations in technology before you make that investment. After years in the automotive sales industry, Dave has developed a set of questions to help you determine the vehicle that’s best for your needs.  In an actual consultation, Dave will go over these details and more.
